From the humble beginnings in the 3D animation industry in the early 2000s through to the Photoshop craze and the recent User Experience bubble — I’ve been lucky to experience it all.
My career began working in design agencies where I learnt how to juggle half-a-dozen of projects at the same time while maintaining my sanity.
Once inducted into the Design Thinking world, I changed my path towards understanding people on a deeper level and I have never looked back since.
For the past seven years, my focus has been on building design capabilities within large scale organisations with low UX maturity.
I specialise in design strategy and management of end-to-end product design cycle.
What do I bring to the table?
Building experience design strategy
Defining a target operating model with frameworks and processes to introduce high-levels of delivery efficiency.
Cultivating a design thinking culture
Bringing the wider organisation to understand the value design can bring to the bottom line of the business.
Managing design capability
Analysing the current design capability, identifying gaps and upskilling talent to meet future design needs.
Managing design operations
Managing large design teams employing an agile framework to alleviate pain and promote trust and development.
Bringing a greater focus on research
From quantitative and qualitative research to ethnographic studies, journey maps and discovery workshops.
Strong stakeholder management
High-levels of open collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to bring transparency and honesty.
